Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to manufacture cast-iron casting of fish by my own design. The content of this work is divided into theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part is devoted to symbolics of fish in arts. Next, the natural habitat for fish is followed up beside with their natural characteristics. Finally, in the practical part, the work on manufacturing of the artistic casting is described in detail. The procedure methodology is described from drawing sketches, through clay models to the creation of the resin model, core and form, to final version of Artistic casting.
