Abstract

In my bachelor thesis I focus on the issue of securing the obligations. In the theory part, I pay attention to the particular security means, their use, and their basic features. Further I write about bank operations, mainly loan contracts. I focus on the most operated types of loans, their offer and security. In the practice part, I write about the use of security instruments with selected loan operations at the Česká spořitelna savings bank. I specify in detail particular loans, their security, and compare all these aspects to other banks, which I sum up in the final part of my thesis.
