Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the financial performance of the company Kopos Cologne, and for the period 2004 to 2008. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first part describes the methodology of financial performance. This chapter is focused on financial ratios as methods of financial analysis, global assessment of the financial model and determine the level of economic value added. Chapter is devoted to quantify the incremental impact of the top indicators of return on equity and economic value added by using a pyramid decomposition, and describes the benchmarking system of financial indicators. In the second part, the company Kopos Kolin, Inc. Subsequently performed in the horizontal and vertical analysis of the company, calculated financial ratios analysis, conducted pyramid decomposition indicators Return on equity and comprehensive models calculated from the financial level. At the end of this chapter will be compared with the selected firm financial ratios with the results achieved in the results as the best company in the industry. The third chapter is devoted to calculating the cost of capital, calculating economic value added. Economic value added is divided into sub-indicators using a pyramid decomposition. At the end of the third chapter is an assessment of the results of financial performance.
