Abstract

Currently, when everybody is in a hurry, it is necessary to spend some time in sports centres. The aim of this thesis is to design a sports hall. Precisely, it is a multifunction sports hall where football, handball, tennis, volleyball, badminton and other sports could be played. For these sports height of the hall reflects the individual sports requirements. Inside the hall, besides the pitch, there are a tribune and a building – in space. In the building – in space there are changing rooms, toilets, bathroom, a tool room and room with air – condition technology and technology for water heating. On the top of building – in space there is a small area with table tennis tables. From the construction point of view, it is an eliptical trusses structure. My aim is to design steels structures such as a parts of truss purlin, joints of steel structures with a foundations by anchor bolts. Finally, everything must be resistant to variad load and activity. The skeleton of the building – in structure is a steel structure to. I would like to show the beauty of steel constructions without any ceilings.
