Abstract
Bachelor thesis explains the origin and the nature of the budget as the main tool of the municipality economy. It defines and describes basic types of income and expenditure budgets of municipality. It assesses the budget of the municipality during the years 2004 – 2008 with a view to 2009. Thesis analyzes income and expenditure budget of the municipality during that period.
