Abstract

In this bachelor thesis we focus on the labour market placement of graduates. The focus is mainly on graduates of Vysoká škola báňská. The aim of the thesis was to find appropriate recommendations and suggestions for steps that the school should take to increase the chances of job placement of its graduates. The evaluation was carried out on the basis of a questionnaire survey in which graduates of VŠB-TUO participated in 2020. The results show that graduates see the biggest problem as the lack of practice in their studies and the insufficient connection of the discussed material with examples from practice. The thesis concludes with suggestions and recommendations that the university should undertake to increase the employability of its graduates on the labour market.
