Vliv zpoždění iniciace na maximální výbuchové parametry hořlavého prachu

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the theoretical and experimental evaluation of the effect of ignition delay on the maximum explosion parameters of combustible dusts. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with basic concepts and definitions in the field of explosion protection, followed by a detailed description of explosion parameters and factors influencing their values. Further the thesis deals with normative requirements for testing of these parameters. The practical part is aimed at verifying the theoretical assumptions concerning the influence of delay on the maximum explosion parameters. For verification, corn starch was selected as a test sample. The test set-up and the procedure of the individual tests are described in detail. In the final section, the results of the practical part are presented and analyzed, providing useful insights in the field of explosion prevention.
