Zdroje financování občanských sdružení v oblasti sportu

Abstract

Sport and physical training has in Czech Republic a rich tradition. Non profit civic associations mostly members of CSTV are taking care for its advancement. They are offering to the society some alternative of activities based on different motives than is a profit. Main theme of my work is the explanation of the problems of a financing by civic associations in the field of sport, analysis of resources and emphasis on need of active role of public budgets for a proper functioning of this sport sector. I have chosen a method of my analysis by comparing two subjects and the main comparing criterion of my analysis are legal relationship toward assets and their using. My way of analysis corroborated this reality, relations based on cooperation with local authorities are bringing unambiguously advantage of financial support. The disadvantage can occur when with a growing support also grows the dependence on these authorities. However in our county both subjects kept their independence and continue to be respected partners with all theirs competences retained.
