Živočichové drobných periodických vod na lesních cestách (CHKO Beskydy)

Abstract

This thesis deals with the fauna of small periodic waters on forest roads of PLA Beskydy. The main goal of thesis is to introduce the diversity periodic water fauna. The first part of thesis contains general characteristics of aquatic fauna and of its aquatic environment. The research was done on Ostrý Mt. – Kalužný Mt. ridge. The pH, water and air temperature and measures od six selected habitats were recorded and compared as main physiological factors influencing the diversity of habitats. During the two years of research, there was confirmed an appearance of several invertebrate species as well as some vertebrates. Some endangered species of amphibians were also present. As all of the selected habitats were located on roads used for tourism and forestry, the study also deals with influence of their activities on it. Environmental protection activities on aquatic habitats are also mentioned.
