Spontaneous combustion of solid flammable materials is a frequent cause of many fires, during storage, handling or transport. Horse manure is a material that tends to spontaneous combustion. The evaluation of tendency to spontaneous combustion of horse manure was carried out in this work according to EN 15188. On the basis of measured data and analysis of theoretical approaches in the solved area, the rules for safe storage of horse manure in terms of its tendency to spontaneous combustion were created in this thesis.
