Vliv vypouštění důlních vod na kvalitu vody v Karvinském potoce

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the influence of mine water discharges on the water quality in the Karvina Stream. The theoretical part of the work is devoted to the natural conditions of the investigated locality, legislation and chemismy of mine water and selected OKD mines are described. Then the chemical and physical parameters determining the quality of surface water are specified in more detail. The practical part describes the sampling points and methods of measuring individual indicators according to relevant standards. The obtained results are evaluated and compared with the valid legislative. The aim was to find out to chat extent to affect the discharge mine water Karvina Stream and this brook subsequently contaminate the Olše River and to suggest any way it is possible to mitigate the negative impal on the environment in the from of mine water from mining activities. From the measured values, it was processed that the discharge of mine water negatively affects the quality of water in the Karvina Stream and ten subsequently pollutes the Olše River. Excess chloride concentrations, solutes and electrical conductivite were measured.
