Abstract

The subject of this bachelor work is to design a multifunctional building in an urban area, at the corner of Zamecka Street and Dlouha street in the center of Ostrava. The building will combine the functions of business and administrative activities integrated with the functions of housing. Bachelor's thesis is prepared under conditions of functional recovery based on valid planning documentation. The theoretical part is focused on multifunctional buildings in terms of history, use today and the main principles of general solutions. The whole design is conceived conceptually possible with a view to the future, including integration to old buildings.
