Abstract

In this Thesis I analyse plasma generator and a simulation of electrostatic proportion at a start of the plasma furnace. The forepart of this Thesis deals with a rise and physical processes in a low temperature plasma and in an electric arch. Further follows a description of a various types of the plasma generators, which are used in the plasma metallurgy, their benefits and disadvantages. Follows a description of a real plasma furnace for a laboratory purposes and a description of the plasmatron, a creation of model and a simulation of an electric field in a computing programme ANSYS. I do the simulation for a various geometry of the cathode. The last part of the Thesis is mentioned as a comparison and an estimation of a single lays and recommendation for an optimal position of cathode in face of an auxiliary anode.
