Stanislav Lichorobiec, Ph.D. The Bachelor thesis is focused on ballistic resistance of standardly used tires in the implementation of vehicle stopping by a short firearm. The resistance was tested on a ballistic line, which results are recorded in the experimental part of this work. The work also describes a selected weapon and projectile, which were used for the experiment. The thesis describes the legal framework that regulates weapon use, ballistic and tires, their characteristics, structure and materials needed for the production.
