Vzorová aplikácia Software Safety Framework pre zariadenia NXP Goldbox

Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze and implement components of the SAF (Software Architecture Framework) from NXP, which are key for software development in the automotive industry. The thesis focuses on the availability of component functionality in the evaluation version, as well as their potential use in safety-critical and control applications. The theoretical part provides an overview of the functional safety lifecycle, the principles of software architecture operation, and the structure of the SAF Framework. The practical part deals with the design, configuration, and implementation of the components, including the testing of their functionality. The result of the thesis is a simulated implementation of reduced functionality within an EPS control unit system, including its testing. The thesis also discusses the algorithms and data structures used in the implementation of the demonstration application.
