The subject of master’s thesis is the design and assessment of a steel-concrete railway bridge with an upper deck. The theoretical part mentions the basic types of composite structures and basic approaches to their design. Their advantages and disadvantages and examples from practice. The practical part includes the basic design of the bridge and the static verification of its main load-bearing elements. The conclusion mentions the places to which increased attention will be paid in further works.
