Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with the outsourcing of ICT and the associated posibility of using the Shared Service Center. The thesis consists of two main parts: theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part I am describing the characteristics of the company COM PLUS CZ, which in cooperation with Informatica El Corte Ingles operates a Shared Services Center. I pay attention to the organizational structure of a particular individual levels of support. Then I am investigating the success factors of the outsourcing in the Czech Republic and the metodology of ITIL. In the practical part I am comparing outsourcing and in-house IT. I am performing the analysis using SWOT analysis. The result of thesis includes summary of the results and recommendations arising from them.
