Abstract
The thesis deals with assessment and proposal of health protection improvement with the utilization of concrete measuring procedures in the plant of rolling and finishing mill in company ArcelorMittal Frydek-Mistek plc. Basic terms of issue, legal regulations concerning health protection and physical properties of sound are defined in the theoretical part. The practical part describes a company, chosen plant and procedures of its workers. Based on undertaken measurements hazard rate is evaluated, professions are categorized and specific draft of measures for health protection is elaborated.
