Abstract

The goal of the submitted thesis: „The Influence of Value Added Tax on Economic Growth“ is to analyze the impact of value added tax on economic growth. The panel regression analysis method was used to study the relationship between the value added tax and economic growth.In this thesis, several models were designed. The set of selected OECD countries then set of EU countries set of G7 countries set of EU7 countries and last the set of PIGGS countries were involved into models. These models also differ with length of used time period and with involved explanatory variables. The relationship between variables was revealed by results of models. It was approved in long run.
