Zhodnocení pracovních podmínek v oděvním průmyslu ve vybraných zemích Jižní Asie

Abstract

The main topic of the bachelor thesis is the working conditions in the garment and textile industry in Selected South Asian countries. The substance of the bachelor thesis is assessment and comparation of the working conditions in Bangladesh, India, and Nepal from 2017 to 2021. The bachelor thesis starts with an overview of developing countries and their role in international trade, and international division of labor. It is followed by the characteristics of each country and their significance in the garment industry. The theoretical section also examines the working conditions in the textile and garment industry, including child labor. In the practical part, the thesis compares selected indicators related to working conditions in the industry using statistical data from international organizations.
