Abstract

This diploma thesis is analyzing the influence of quality of input raw materials on blast furnace productivity. The First and second chapter of the diploma thesis is describing individual components of blast furnace batch, ie properties of raw materials, thus chemical and physical properties, and their recommended most suitable parameters for optimal blast furnace performance. In the third part, attention is paid to the blast furnace, hence the blast furnace technology and how to manage the blast furnace productivity. The fourth chapter is practical and shows the analysis of the properties of the blast furnace batch and its effect on the blast furnace productivity. The analysis was made using statistical regression method. The last part of the diploma thesis is the summary of the whole work, the conclusion and the design of the optimal batch for the blast furnace.
