Návrh přestavby křižovatky ulic Novinářská x Varenská v Ostravě na okružní křižovatku

Abstract

The content of the diploma thesis is a variant proposal for the reconstruction of the intersection of Novinářská x Varenská streets in Ostrava in the Moravská Ostrava part into a roundabout. The aim of the work is to propose a solution for a continuous traffic mode on the entire road in the direction to October 28 Street. Part of the diploma thesis is an analysis of the current situation, which includes the implementation of traffic surveys and the detection of traffic accidents in the addressed locality. The thesis deals with three variants, of which the more suitable one is developed at the level corresponding to a technical study. Part of the proposal is also a solution to the existing wiring of utility networks and an assessment of the issue of the possibility of congestion in the section to the traffic light intersection with 28. října Street. The final variant is verified for passability using the AutoTURN software. The sponsor of the thesis topic is the Municipality of the City of Ostrava.
