Jiří Bečica, Ph.D. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the development of the paid expenditures on state social support benefits in the regions Czech Republic between 2010 and 2015. The intermediate aim of the work is to provide an assessment of the regions of the Czech Republic in terms of expenditures on state social support benefits per capita. The theoretical part of this thesis defines the basic concepts of social and family policy, but first and foremost is characterized by direct and indirect financial support of families. The practical part examines on the basis of acquired data the development of the volume of funds spent on individual state social support benefits, both for the whole Czech Republic and within all regions of the Czech Republic. Furthermore, individual regions of the Czech Republic are evaluated with the help of monitoring the share of expenditures per capita spent on the given benefit in the region to the total expenditures for the given per capita benefit in all regions. An important part of the work is also the monitoring of demographic, labor and legislative factors, which can affect the development of state social support benefits.
