Abstract
The diploma thesis focuses on the thermochemical conversion of waste tires. The theoretical part of the thesis contains a general description of tires and their composition, followed by a brief description of waste tire management methods. Chapter number 3 examines the pyrolysis process and its products in more detail. Special attention is paid to the use of pyrolysis gas, oil and solid residue. Furthermore, a research focused on the use of catalysts in the process of pyrolysis of waste tires is carried out. In the experimental part of the work, the pyrolysis of waste tires is carried out, which is divided into two parts. The first part focuses on non-catalytic pyrolysis in which the temperature in the reactor was gradually increased, while the second part involves adding catalysts and observing the differences
in the process. The final part of the thesis is devoted to the evaluation of the measurements, presentation of the results obtained and their analysis.
