Posouzení motivace zaměstnanců školských institucí napříč sektory

Abstract

The diploma thesis focuses on assessing the motivation of employees in educational institutions across sectors. The aim is to analyze the motivation of teachers in both public and private kindergartens. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to apply both quantitative and qualitative methods, which are described in detail in a separate chapter. The theoretical part covers two main areas. First, it addresses the legislative framework relating to educational institutions, which is elaborated in detail. The next section clarifies key concepts such as motivation, stimulation, organizational culture, employee engagement, and also the concept of motivation in pedagogical practice. At the beginning of the practical part, both educational institutions are introduced—in this specific case, kindergartens. Subsequently, the benefits provided in both private and public kindergartens are presented. The practical part itself is mainly focused on evaluating the questionnaire survey, together with a semi-structured interview with the management. In the conclusion, based on the collected data, proposals and recommendations are formulated, the implementation of which aims to increase the level of teachers’ motivation.
