Abstract

My thesis deals with a subject of the Surfactant Enhanced Oil Recovery in Carbonate Reservoirs. The first part is focused on the characteristics of carbonate oil reservoirs. These informations are quite important for the rest of my thesis becouse a whole surfactant method is focused on carbonates. The next part gives an account of how this enhanced oil recovery method of surfactants works. In this chapter you can also find out the definition of surfacntats, characterization of surfactants, conditions for using the surfactants, surfactant screening criteria and some chosen surfactants which are the most common.The last chapter analyzes examples and evaluations of surfactants used at some selected oil fields.
