Abstract

KORČOVÁ, K.: House for an Artist, Skalice u Frýdku-Místku, Bachelor's Thesis, Ostrava: VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of Architecture 226, 2025. Supervisor: Ing. arch. Filip Slivka, Ph.D. The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the elaboration of project documentation for the execution of a building in accordance with Act No. 283/2021 [4] Coll., the Building Act, as amended. The design of the family house was developed based on a study in Design Studio 1 led by Ing. arch. Lucie Videcká, and subsequently elaborated in Design Studio 5 and the Bachelor's Thesis Seminar under the guidance of Ing. arch. Filip Slivka Ph.D. and Ing. Jiří Teslík, Ph.D. The object of the design is a family house in the village of Skalice near Frýdek-Místek. The family house is intended for a painter and his family, and includes his studio and a separate gallery space. The bachelor's thesis includes a textual part and a drawing part. The textual documentation contains an accompanying report, a summary report, and a technical report on the building. The appendices include the drawing part with complete documentation for the execution of the building, detail drawings, and an architectural detail of a concealed LED strip in the suspended ceiling. The thesis is completed within the specified scope.
