Abstract

Kateřina Riedlová, Ph.D. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to elaborate documentations for building permit that has been created in a lesson Atelier's work Va. The task of the work has been a conversion of the original water tower into the art gallery with a café, that is located in Opava, closed to the railway station Opava – Východ. Within the reconstruction, the tower with the chimney will be preserved and the rest of the construction will be removed and replaced with new ones. My goal was to create an object (an art gallery) that would represent the city. Other intention was to clearly separate the existing structures from new one and not to cover bricks on the existing construction at the same time. The work is divided into two parts, text and drawing documentation.
