Obousměrný přenos dat pomocí technologie LoRaWAN

Abstract

The aim of the diploma thesis is to design, assemble and revive a bi-directional communicating sensor node for data transmission using LoRaWAN technology. The thesis describes the LoRaWAN technology, its classes, versions and transmission security. Furthermore, the LoRaWAN protocol is compared with other similar Internet of Things technologies. The next part deals with the design, assembly, and activation of a sensor node that will send measured data from sensors in CayenneLPP format to an Internet of Things network based on LoRaWAN technology operated on The Things Stack Community Edition platform. This part also includes the procedure for commissioning the reverse LoRaWAN channel to change the function of the sensor node. In the next part of the thesis, the solution for storing the received data in the database and their subsequent visualization using the Grafana tool is described. The last part of the thesis is devoted to the design of a simple method for changing the period of sending measured data. The entire procedure is documented in detail in the form of several tutorials available on the website https://lora.vsb.cz.
