Návrh nástroje pro hodnocení vhodnosti lokalit pro různé typy využití s aplikací na seniorské bydlení

Abstract

Introduced thesis aims at the theme related to aging of population which is one of the main themes of today’s Europe. Therefore this work discusses matter of housing. It aims especially at the location of the housing facilities (at their position in the city boundaries) instead of their interior arrangements, equipment optimalization etc.

Chapter Introduction describes more closely the approach which was taken towards the senior housing issues in time, from the Middle Ages. This Chapter also presents some legislation related to senior housing.

Fundamental part of this thesis is a design of tool for suitability evaluation of senior housing location. It describes a methodology, which could be used for comparison purposes of any agglomeration when thinking about their current location (this is important when the decision about closing one of them is needed). The methodology also helps to choose and compare new potential location for senior housing and evaluate their suitability in case of new development in the area.

Thesis analyzes the procedure which was used to process this methodology. Some mathematic tools used at the first stage are mentioned in short.

With respect to the fact that only written methodology can be inhibitor of its own application, the special application (specially designed software) was created for improvement and simplification of the introduced methodology. This application uses the methodology and carries out all comparative computations with inserted example criteria and localities. A procedure of the data entering as well as description of the algorithm is a part of the thesis. The thesis also describes the possibility of redesigning of this application for other uses (e.g. for schools). In that case it is not about usage of the proposed methodology, but about usage of the software tool which could exist as extension of GIS.
