Abstract

The Diploma Thesis deals with issues related to waste management in municipality Duchcov. The first part of the thesis shows waste management in general as a new branch of business. The following points are present status of waste management, municipal waste, description of waste collecting, sorting and disposal and hazardous substances in municipal waste questions. The other part of the thesis contains analysis of waste management development and its contemporary implementation in municipality Duchcov. Following part of the thesis contains economical and ecological evaluation of produced waste. The final part of the thesis submits suggestions and recommendations for creation of economically beneficial and ecologically acceptable waste management in municipality Duchcov.
