Abstract

This thesis focuses on the ubiquitous cloud computing trend and its use in hospital information system. Theoretical part defines basic characteristics of cloud computing and cloud computing distribution models. It also determines basic elements of software law, which defines life cycle of IT outsourcing, data protection and protection of personal data. Practical part analyzes current state of the information system in hospital and proposes options for innovation of this information system by using cloud computing technology. For transition to public cloud thesis uses office and business software. For private cloud was used server and desktop virtualization.
