Abstract

Photovoltaic panels have been experiencing a great growth in recent times. The first discovery, which could be considered the start of the development of photovoltaics, was made already in the 19th century. Further improvements followed and were always related to the need for simple and unattended production of electrical energy. Very expensive research was carried out by both private entities and the state. With their development and use, there has been a significant drop in price. Today's situation is a bit different. At present, the main trend is emission-free production and saving on electricity costs. The company tries to fulfill these requirements by expanding the installation of PV panels, which is related to the expansion of other parts of the PV systems as functional units. Like everything else, these steps have their pitfalls and limits.
