Environmentálně-interakční prvky jako nástroj ochrany životního prostředí (Ostravsko-Karvinská aglomerace)

Abstract

The key topic of this thesis is the attempt to take a comprehensive and not always reflected approach to environmental protection in the Ostrava-Karviná agglomeration. It emphasizes the importance of environmental interactions between humans and the landscape, which allow the emergence of environmental-interaction elements. These elements work with a balanced combination of top-down and bottom-up approaches in environmental protection. The research is based on the recognition that one of the key environmental problems of the Ostrava-Karviná agglomeration is the disturbed relationship of inhabitants to the landscape, which negatively affects their willingness to participate in its protection. Within the framework of the work, environmental-interaction elements at model sites of the Ostrava-Karviná agglomeration are identified and analysed, and their potential for integration into environmental protection systems is assessed.
