Zhodnocení výzkumu, vývoje a inovací v České republice a v zemích Evropské unie

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with research, development and innovation performance in Czech republic and Europe's dimension. Main point of this thesis is evaluation of reaserch and development in Czech republic and countries of EU in period from 2010 to 2020 with a focus on area of financing R&D, human resources in R&D and innovation performance. The methods used for evaluation of the results were time series analysis, comparison analysis, deduction, induction and also cluster analysis. From the results follows, that during selected years, the bigest advancement in financing R&D was seen with Belgium. On the contrary the biggest drop was seen with Finland and Italy. In the area of the human resources of R&D Netherlands and Belgium have developed themselves the most, on the other hand Luxembourg and Finland showed decrease in human resources. From the results is also shown, that in the area of financing and human resources in R&D the Czech republic belongs to the list of slightly below average countries. Accordingly to the innovation performance, which was rated with the help of Summary Innovation Index, Czech republic shows almost no progress and still belongs among the mild innovators.
