Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the optimization of inventory control in the company VISIMPEX a. s. The bachelor thesis is divided into 4 core chapters, which are characteristics of the company, theoretical part, analytical part, evaluation and proposal. There is a detailed characteristics of company VISIMPEX a. s. in the first part. Theoretical basis and methodology used for the analytical part is included in the theoretical part. The analytical part is focused on the evaluation of the current situation in the company and on the application of ABC analysis, which allows an assessment of current inventory management system. The last part of bachelor thesis deals with the proposal of a new inventory management system to improve the current situation in the company. The new proposal achieves lower average total stock value.
