Zhodnocení lidského a ekonomického rozvoje ve vybraných skandinávských zemích

Abstract

The main topic of this bachelor thesis is human and economic development in selected Scandinavian countries. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to compare and evaluate the achieved level of human and economic development in three selected countries, namely in Denmark, Norway and Sweden in the period from 2017 to 2021. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the theoretical foundations of measuring human and economic development and defines selected socio-economic indicators. Furthermore, the theoretical part is devoted to the presentation of the region of Scandinavia itself and describes the economic and social characteristics of individual countries. In the practical part, the results of the analysis regarding human and economic development in selected countries are presented, and then these countries are evaluated among themselves. Statistical data are drawn from web databases of selected international organizations.
