Abstract
This diploma thesis dealt with methodics for inundation areas assesment using hydrodynamical numerical models. The area of interest was defined Vsetínská Bečva river basin, the modeled rivers were Vsetínská Bečva, left tributary Senice and right tributary Bystřice. For three mentioned rivers were created overflows at flows Q1, Q5, Q10, Q50 and Q100 on the basis proposed methodics. Inundation areas were determined on the basis of created overflows by freeware HEC-RAS.
In theoretical part of thesis the area of interest was characterized by physical geography, researches in the field of hydrodynamics and hydrology and required input data were described.
Individual points of the methodics, that were described in main part of this thesis, contains eleven consecutive steps.
