Optimalizace odpadového hospodářství v podmínkách RKL Slévárna, a.s.

Abstract

The main topic of this thesis is the waste treatment optimization in framework of RKL Slévárna, s. r. o. The goal of the experiment was to reduce the amount of waste sand from the production of cores by the method Cold box Amin. Utilization of broken or unsuitable cores for crusher of Cold Box cores and use of regeneration for a new production of the mixture. The diploma thesis evaluates the analyzes that take into account the amount of regenerate, amount of resin and hardener, the use of Grudzeń Las silica, granulometric analysis, analysis of annealing loss, mechanical tests, the influence of absorption of the coating at a certain concentration and abrasion resistance of cores. The castings were assessed in terms of surface quality by the visual method. Surface defects from cores and surface roughness were evaluated by the SVÚM standard. The final economic summary is expressed in the last chapter of this thesis. It includes the advantages of the core crusher purchase for RKL Foundry, cost savings and recovery.
