Pomocné systémy elektrarénského turboalternátoru

Abstract

The presented bachelor thesis deals with the basic principles, design and auxiliary systems of higher power turboalternators. The first part of the thesis is a general description of the physical functioning of alternators and their classification. The method of converting mechanical energy into electrical energy is explained. The second part of the thesis focuses on the design of alternators. Here the function of the different parts of the alternator and the specifics of their construction are explained. The last part deals with the auxiliary systems of a particular machine operated at the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant. The lubrication and cooling methods, the method of changing the gaseous coolant, the oil sealing system and the principle of the excitation system are presented. The work also includes the execution and description of the diagnostics of the excitation system, the output of which is the analysis of the excitation current of individual brushes of the alternator. This work should serve as a teaching aid for students dealing with the operation of alternator auxiliary systems.
