Zhodnocení vlivu průmyslu na kvalitu ovzduší - znečištění prachovými částicemi na Ostravsku, Česká republika

Abstract

This thesis analyzes air pollution by dust particles – pollution trends in the EU, Czech Republic and Ostrava are being compared. Ostrava, the third largest city in the Czech Republic, is among the most polluted areas of the Czech Republic for a long time, there is big portion of heavy industry and thus significant sources of air pollution. The atmosphere in the city is also burdened by emissions from transport and local heating and last but not least, also remote transfer of pollution from neighboring industrial part of Poland. This paper uses time series of pollution, with emphasis mainly on emissions of PM10, PM2.5.
