Abstract
The successful adaptation of employees should be one of the main goals of any organization that is interested in retaining newly hired employees and at the same time wants to prepare them for the work they expect from them. This diploma thesis is devoted to the topic of adaptation of employees, namely in the department of communication with customers. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the theoretical starting points of employee adaptation, human resource management with a focus on adaptation, ongoing evaluation and remuneration, as well as the method of obtaining information needed for research. The second, practical part, focuses on solving the job analysis in the customer communication department and overall adaptation for this position. At the end of the thesis, the results of the analysis are evaluated and specific proposals are presented that should improve the adaptation process for the given position.
