Abstract

Diploma thesis called Implementation of Process Metodology ITIL for IT Management in KOFOLA Group was elaborated at the Department of System Engineering at the Faculty of Economics, Technical University of Ostrava. The aim of the diploma thesis is worked out pre-project analyse with consideration of ITIL metodology. The results of the analyses will used for specification of the elemental variants for the implementation and recommend to management how progress with the whole project. In the theoretical part of the work is specified the main terminology used in the work. The using methods are presentating as well as the metodology which is implemented. The practical part has two another parts – the analytic and project part. In the analytic part is designed the progress of the pre-project tasks, is done the SWOT and GAP analyses and are shown the needed system changes. In the project part is designed the realistic variants of implementation the metodology, the variants are evaluated and after the most suitagle progress is recommended. At the end of the project part there is a design of the pilot project of the implementation which should answer to the management the question about benefits from the main project, as well as the possible problems. In the work was identified some key problems in the researched department – lack of change management, no KPIs and poor motivation ef employees which relate. This factors in combination with turbulent environment and press to be more and more effective are the main motivation for the implementation.. For the implementation project was recommended the variant called „down from top“, which has logical progress and it is easy to see the results of the implementation, but the participants of the project must be able to work in quite abstracted way. Before the main project was reccomended to do a pilot project which is combination of the variant „down from top“ and „quick wins“. The pilot project should motivace the employee for participation in the main project and should help management IT to see the problems which can be anticipace in the main project.
