Připravenost obyvatelstva na aktuální bezpečnostní hrozby

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the preparedness of the population for current security threats. The introductory part defines basic concepts, theoretical approaches to population preparedness and characterizes current security threats. This part is followed by a presentation of selected countries, namely the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland and Sweden, including a description of their approaches to civil preparedness and an analysis of published handbooks and information materials. The next part contains a comparison of the approaches of individual countries to population preparedness with a focus on the analysis of handbooks and information campaigns related to a possible crisis or war conflict. Based on the comparison, measures are proposed that can be used in the Czech Republic to increase the level of preparedness of the population for current security threats.
