Abstract
This thesis work deals with design and construction of electronic device, that can be controlled over the Internet. In this concept integrated converter XPort between ethernet and serial interface is used. Microcontroller ATmega8 was choosen for controlling of the device. This MCU includes program that is written in C language. The program was compiled with WinAVR package. Designed device controls two unipolar stepper motors with ULN2803 integrated driver. Universal protocol called Spinel was choosen for the communication.
During the development, the emphasis was on simplicity of equipment and its universal application.
