Úloha FEDu a ECB při řešení finanční a ekonomické krize

Abstract

This thesis examines the role of the Federal Reserve and European Central Bank during financial and economic crisis. The aim of this thesis is to compare the measures taken by the European Central Bank and the Federal Reserve System in the first four years of financial crisis (in 2007 - 2010). The first chapter deals with the Federal Reserve System. This part describes the creation, development, structure, explained by monetary policy, etc. The second chapter focuses on the European Central Bank. This part describes the historical development and structure, defined by the position of the ECB's monetary policy is explained, etc. In the third Chapter describes the measures mentioned above, the Central Bank carried out. First, these measures are described and compared within individual years and then are compared for the entire period (2007 - 2010). There is also evaluating the effectiveness of these measures and their overall evaluation. In this work comparison method was used.
