Vliv asbestu na životní prostředí

Abstract

Thesis gives basic overview about asbestos topic. First chapter describes asbestos characteristics and defines asbesto types, its usage and presence. Second chapter summarizes information about its negative impact on the individual environment parts – air, water, soil and human body. Third chapter explains valid legislation touching asbestos. Asbestos is a hazardous substance and should be manipulated according to legal enactments. There are many test methods available to find out whether air, water or soil contains dangerous asbestos fibers. These measurement tests are described in fourth chapter of the thesis. If the test confirms presence of asbestos fibers then they must be removed. These removal methods are described in last sixth chapter.
