Abstract
The aim of this Bachelor's Thesis is to evaluate the position of people with disabilities in the labour market in the Czech republic and suggest policy measures that helps to improve their employment and employability. The first part is introduction. The second part of the thesis focuses on the theoretical foundation of disadvantaged people in the labour market. This chapter defines disabled groups of people and their problems with searching for a job. The third chapter describes current issue, which is unemployment of disabled people and ways of help. There are also data from surveys done by Czech Labour office. Results of surveys show that people with disabilities have to face a lot of problems while entering labour market and searching for employment opportunities. There are also written some instruments which help improve employment and employability of this group of people. The objectives of the fourth chapter are activities of the non-profit organization Charita Opava, which is one of the most important employers of disabled people in the Czech republic. The fifth chapter of the thesis contains proposals and recommendations to improve current position of disabled people in the labour market. The last chapter is conclusion.
