Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the competitiveness of Nero Trade, Ltd., a manufacturer of jukeboxes and other traffic Speedball entertainment technology.
The thesis is divided into four main chapters. The first chapter outlines the readers of the basic theoretical concepts and methodological issues related to competitiveness. In the second chapter is introduced Nero Trade Company, Ltd., in which the thesis is processed. The third part is designed to evaluate the competitiveness of company by using different methods such passportization, PEST analysis, Porter's five forces model, questionnaire and SWOT analysis. The last part is focused on summarizing and are proposed steps that could lead to maintaining or improving the situation in which the company is.
One of the main recommendations for the company would be to implement a remote control that will allow complete on-line control on the jukebox in real time and from virtually anywhere in the world. By applying this company could reduce fuel costs, improve service availability and downtime. The methods showed that the company has a competitive advantage, especially in their employees. Another competitive advantage the company has is, that the product is adapting to technological progress and modern times, which is subsequently reflected in the quality of products.
Today's competitive environment can be achieved by strong and competitive company and based on the methods used in this work was shown that Nero Trade Company, Ltd. is such a company like this.
