Studium vlivu vysokovýkonného laseru na optická konvenční vlákna

Abstract

Bachelor thesis deals with general knowleadge about optical fibers, lasers and optical amplifiers. The first part is attended to study of these topics. However, the main object of the work is to design measuring workplace for measuring the aging of optical fibers and their subsequent experimental measurements. Thesis further describes the used measurement methods for measuring attenuation of optical fibres of different lengths and different duration of loading by high power laser, a description of high power laser and the evaulation of the measured results.
